Frequently asked questions.

When do you need an RSVP?

Upon receiving a formal invitation, please submit the “RSVP” form on the Schedule section of our website by June 6, 2026 or as soon as possible!

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is formal evening attire: this means long or mid-length dresses, elegant separates, or suit and tie. Please keep in mind the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, on a grassy area. Maine can be hot and humid in August, but we’ll cross our fingers for a cool breeze by the evening. Consider bringing along chic sunglasses and a light wrap!

AccuWeather reports an historical average high of 80 and low of 61 for Scarborough on August 8 (DYOR: past weather is not necessarily indicative of future weather etc. etc.).

What time should I arrive for the ceremony? Where should I park?

Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered! Transportation will be provided from downtown Portland (check back here for pick-up times and locations closer to the date). If you would prefer to drive separately, please reach out to Michael or Erica for more information.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Please, please let us know! Don’t be shy - we’re excited to share a delicious meal and we don’t want to leave anybody out. We welcome you to provide as much information as needed in the designated question on our RSVP form. Don’t forget to leave your contact information there too in case we need to follow up!

Can I bring…?

The name of every guest invited to attend our wedding weekend will be clearly listed on your invitation. Unfortunately, no additional guests can be accommodated. Please note that while we love your little ones, our celebration will be adults only.

What took so long!?

It’s no secret we’ve been together for …well…forever! We are so very excited to finally make it official and begin the rest of our forever together. We invite you to celebrate accordingly!!!
